Common Uses For Aluminum
Bronze: Heavy duty industrial
products including worms, gears, spur gears, bushings,
bearings, and valve components. Aluminum Bronze is a
heavy duty bearing alloy but will not tolerate poor
lubricants or misalignment. Aluminum Bronzes are known
for high strength and excellent corrosion resistance.
All Aluminum Bronze alloys listed on this worksheet
support the following fabrication practices: soldering,
brazing, gas shielded arc welding, and coated metal arc
welding. Heat treatment of material is available
per request.
