SAE 841, also known as powdered metal, or sintered bronze, offers both strength and great lubrication properties. Industry uses Sintered Bronze / oil impregnated bronze as machinery components from self-lubricating pump parts, and turbine blades, to thrust washers and bushing components. SAE 841 material is used also in the military, aerospace, and weapons manufacturing industry.
